What a pleasant day this has been. We went to Church and it was Communion Sunday. My Church back in Florida had Communion the first Sunday of every month but here they have it quarterly.Â
The folks in the congregation are so very pleasant. I am sure if I continue to attend Cornerstone Presbyterian I will fit in just as I did at LSPC.Â
So, then when we got home the ballgame came on. The Rays were playing the Yankees again. They beat them Friday and Saturday but not today. I know exactly why the Rays did not win today it was too cold. Our players actually had ski masks on trying to keep warm. Our announcer Joe Magrane said it was impossible to get a grip on the ball when it was as cold as it was in New York today. We play NY again tomorrow evening and I hope it is a lot warmer.Â
When the game was over Bill brought me a plate of pasta and meatballs. Joann had made sauce and meatballs as only she can. I ate so much I sure won't have to have a snack before going to bed tonight.
Ron and Sue stopped in for a visit. Veronica called and we had a nice long conversation. Had an e-mail yesterday from our friend Jimmie who is visiting in Italy for a month. So, in addition to a pleasant day it has been a pleasant week end.
On the way home from Church I was noticing the trees that have been bare since October I think. They have tiny little sprouts coming on that will soon be leaves. It is so interesting to watch these trees and plants come to life.
That's my week end hope yours has been as pleasant.

Love and prayers from here to there
